The project will develop and test a set of new measures of participation and environment for children and youth with disabilities.  These new measures will address the need for better instruments with which to examine outcomes for children and youth and to support research efforts investigating factors in the environment that facilitate or hinder participation.

As a parent, you are the expert on your child’s health and
development. You have searched for and discovered ways
to promote your child’s participation in meaningful day to day
activities in the home, school, and community.
We are beginning to work on promising new developmental
assessments for children with disabilities, which will be useful
to parents, practitioners, and others who work with children
with disabilities and who are striving to promote opportunities
for their full participation in all facets of daily life.
