Sean Desilets is Senior Lecturer in the College of Arts and Sciences Writing Program. His teaching and research interests include film, religion, queer theory, poststructuralism, and intersectional feminism. He is author of Hermeneutic Humility and the Theology of Cinema: Blind Paul (Routledge, 2017), and his essays have appeared in Camera ObscuraFilm CriticismLiterature/Film Quarterly, and Studies in French Cinema. His current book project is entitled A Theology of Media: Migration, Expenditure, Revelation.
