Rutva Bhatt

CAS ’23

Hi! I’m Rutva Bhatt, a current sophomore in CAS studying Biology with a specialization in Neurobiology while on the pre-med track. I’m thinking about minoring in psychology, too. I’m from the suburbs near Chicago, where every now and then my friends and I would visit the city, and I love exploring the city of Boston now.

At BU, I’ve participated in the Pre-Medical Society, Mind and Brain Society, LIME (a mentorship program for Boston public high school girls), and I’ve volunteered at the Cambridge Women’s Center. In my free time, I like to watch movies with my friends (Interstellar blew my mind), listen to music/podcasts (Sawbones is pretty good), watch Netflix, or visit new places around Boston/Cambridge.

The Kilachand seminars I have taken/am taking are A Nation Riven (about activism in the 60s) and Aesthetics & Dance, and they expose me to new discussions and ideas I want to learn about, but otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to explore. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about BU, Kilachand, pre-med, or anything else!
