Kasey (CAS ’17)
I’m from Holden Village, Washington and I had one other person in my graduating class, so coming to Boston University was definitely a huge change, but I have loved it so far and the small, challenging nature of Kilachand Honors College has been a large part of that. I have not declared my major, but I’m considering a cultural anthropology major with a Spanish minor–but I also want to study Swahili! Outside of Kilachand, I play viola in the all campus orchestra, sing soprano in the chapel choir, and play on an absurd number of intramural teams (two volleyball teams, one soccer, and one broomball). In my free time, I enjoy running on the esplanade (especially in the early mornings) and losing myself in Mary Oliver’s poetry.
