Alina (SAR ’17)
My name is Alina, and I am studying Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences on a pre-medical track at Sargent College. I am originally from Basking Ridge, New Jersey and was extremely excited to come out to a city like Boston!
So far, the resources at Boston University have allowed me the chance to engage in student government, cultural/religious groups, and research opportunities on and off campus. I was particularly drawn to the Kilachand Honors College because I would have the opportunity to converse with some of the best professors in classes with only 10-15 other people. Additionally, it offers a small community that is extremely beneficial when coming to a large university.
In my spare time, my favorite thing to do is going out and exploring Boston. From the public gardens to Newbury Street to the North End, the city is really what you make of it. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, and I hope to see you on campus soon!
