Although a visit to the Kilachand Honors College is not necessary, we are happy to welcome prospective students. You may find it helpful in your application and decision process to meet with our Assistant Director for Student Services, our academic advisors, or a Kilachand Ambassador. Visits can be scheduled by contacting us directly. Kilachand Honors College does not have a separate campus and so does not offer tours, but someone would be happy to walk you through Kilachand Hall during your visit.
For me, participating in the Kilachand community has meant asking questions together: how do we bring different disciplines and perspectives together in new and meaningful ways? How might interdisciplinary conversation and collaboration help us to understand and reshape the world around us?
From the time University admissions decisions are released until May 1, admitted students may visit Kilachand for specific Admitted Student Visit programming from 1 to 2PM every weekday with the exception of the days that BU offers Open House programming. You can learn more about Open House or register for an Admitted Student Visit here.
Students interested in learning more about Kilachand Honors College are welcome to visit any time the University is open. We recommend emailing us in advance to ensure that a representative will be available at the time of your visit. General information about visiting Boston University can be found on the BU Admissions website. The University is closed for all national holidays, and between Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Day.
