Nicholas David
The Design of Archaeological Processing Systems with Special Reference to that Employed at Lake Vouliagméni, Greece
Journal of Field Archaeology 9 (1982) 237--241

Criteria for the design of systems for the processing of archaeological materials are proposed and the system used at Lake Vouliagméni, Greece, evaluated. The design of efficient systems that maximize productivity and minimize error can not only produce better results, but also can free significant quantities of archaeological manpower to pursue additional research aims.
