National Patterns of Antiquities Retrieval: the Case for Greek Coin
Hoards
Journal of Field Archaeology 7 (1980) 455--460
Statistical evaluation of the pattern of reporting Greek coin hoards
implies that some nations are having more success at recovering and
reporting hoards than others. This analysis indicates that it is
possible to look at the problem of clandestine archaeology on more
than a case-by-case basis.
