California Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. has issued Executive Order B-64-80, directing state agencies to identify and protect historic properties under their jurisdiction. The Executive Order is similar to Executive Order 11593, issued by President Nixon in 1971. Other states may find it useful as a model, so it is published in full below.
