The EWCJS supports Jewish studies in many areas of inquiry across the humanities and social sciences. Graduate students conducting research on topics related to Jewish history, culture, law, religion, or society are encouraged to seek affiliation with the Center. Affiliated graduate students are eligible to apply for financial support. See Funding opportunities.

If you are interested in affiliating with the Elie Wiesel Center, please send us a CV, a letter of intent, a transcript, and a letter of support from your advisor and schedule an interview with the EWCJS director, Professor Michael Zank, by calling (617) 353-8096 or writing to ewcjs@bu.edu.

To maintain affiliation, we expect graduate students to attend at least one BUJS Forum per semester, and submit a brief annual summary of research and other accomplishments for inclusion in our annual report.
