Mystical Night Niggun Workshop
A community workshop for the LGBT Retreat of the BU Hillel Nehirim.
Combines meditation, learning nigguns (Jewish chants) and playing musical instruments.

Ami & Tami, A Purim Soirée
Matti Kovler’s original musical, described as “a modern Jewish take on the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel.” Join us as the Elie Wiesel Center is transformed into an enchanted forest. Doors will open for music, food, and theatrical activities at 5 pm.

Judeo-Persia Choir
Coordinated by Parham Haghighi, the choir will meet during the months of March and April prior to the “Secrets of Dawn” installation (see below).

Hebrew Songs about Food
A workshop for Hebrew Program Advanced level students, coordinated by Prof. Mira Angrist, to teach and perform several Israeli songs featuring food.

A pop-up installation including a student choir, dance, poetry, and video art.

A cabaret-style evening for Israeli Independence Day, featuring local Israeli talent and BU students.

Women’s Voices in the Middle Ages
Students revive medieval female identities; a vocal performance in Yiddish and Medieval German.
