Single Sign-on Using Your BU Login Name and Kerberos Password
Access to University-wide computing and communications resources that require authentication generally do so through an individual's BU login name and Kerberos password. Many of these, including central e-mail, general purpose PC and UNIX computing facilities, controlled-access Web sites such as The Link, and resources associated with the University's Active Directory, are described below. The most common way to get a BU login name and Kerberos password is to apply for an ACS account. See the section on General Purpose Computing Facilities for more information on ACS. To apply for an account, go to the Web site www.bu.edu/computing/accounts/acs.
