Options after OPT
The
ISSO will host Sharryn Ross of Ross, Silverman & Levy, LLP,
a prominent Boston immigration law firm, for a discussion of options
for those who wish to remain in the U.S. to continue employment
after their period of F-1 Optional Practical Training. Students
in J-1 status completing a period of Academic Training will also
benefit.
This
session will introduce participants to the
H-1B
classification, the H-1B “cap,”
alternatives
to H-1B (TN, E-3, J-1),
lawful
permanent residence and
more.
