Additional
F-1 Optional Practical Training Workshops
for Spring and Early Summer
The
International Students and Scholars Office will offer two
additional Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshops: one during
the spring 2007 semester and another in early summer.
Each workshop will cover eligibility, timing of the application,
deadlines and the application process. At the end of the workshop,
ISSO international student advisors will be available to answer questions.

REMINDER:
If you will graduate in May 2007, your OPT application
must be received by the USCIS Vermont Service Center
before May 20, 2007. Therefore,
the last day to schedule an appointment with an ISSO advisor to
process your OPT
application is May 15, 2007, though we strongly
recommend that you meet with an advisor much earlier. Once at the
USCIS Vermont Service Center, OPT applications may take up to three or
more months to process.
