Optional Practical Training Workshops
for Fall 2007
The
International Students and Scholars Office will offer three
Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshops this semester.
Each workshop will cover eligibility, timing of the application,
deadlines and the application process. At the end of the workshop,
ISSO international student advisors will be available to answer questions.

REMINDER:
If you will graduate in January 2008, your OPT application
must be received by the USCIS Vermont Service Center
before January 25, 2008. Therefore,
the last day to schedule an appointment with an ISSO advisor to
process your OPT
application is January 18, 2008. However,
we strongly recommend that you meet with an advisor much earlier.
Your application may take up to three or more months
to process by the Vermont Service Center.
