QUEST I:
Exploring U.S. Culture and BU's International Community
Come
hear from other international students about how they have handled
culture shock and adjustment to the United
States. Put American values
into perspective, learn effective ways to communicate in the U.S
context, and discover ways to build
your own community within BU through involvement in student organizations
and groups. There
will be a student panel and performances from student groups on
campus. Refreshments provided.

Navigating the American Classroom
Want to learn how to get the most
of your classroom experience? Want to learn better ways to communicate
with your professors and peers in the classroom? This workshop will
address the cultural dynamics of the American classroom: teaching
styles, communication, participation, organization and more. There
will be a student/faculty panel and information about on-campus
resources for students
