BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Steve Maloney
Steve Maloney joined the Foreign Service in 1981. He has served overseas at our embassies in Bucharest, Amman and Tel Aviv. He earned his B.A. in English from the University of Maryland in 1974 and his M.S. in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University in 2001. His languages are Romanian, German, Arabic and Hebrew. He is currently serving as Deputy Director of the Office of Public Affairs and Policy Coordination in the Consular Affairs Bureau.
