The Communiqué
is an on-going series of messages to departments who sponsor international
scholars at Boston University. With the Communiqué, we offer
information that helps in the processing of scholar immigration-related
documents and petitions. We hope you find the Communiqué
a useful tool in working with the ISSO and in successfully hiring
and sponsoring scholars from around the world. Past Communiqués

ISSO Implements New Database of BU Hosts and Department
Contacts
The ISSO has implemented a new secure web-based database to better
track department hosts and administrative contacts who supervise
or handle immigration processing for international scholars affiliated
with Boston University. Additionally, this system will allow Boston
University and Boston Medical Center faculty, staff and affiliates
who are not actively hosting international scholars, to sign up
to receive the ISSO Scholar Services Communiqué, our periodic
electronic newsletter.
If you currently host or serve as a department contact for international
scholars at BU, or if you would like to receive electronic updates
from the ISSO about immigration sponsorship and employment, we would
ask that you kindly create a personal contact profile. Current hosts
and department contacts who may already be receiving communication
from the ISSO, are asked to complete this update form in order to
ensure that your current contact information is correctly reflected
in our new database.

We hope that this new tool will facilitate improved communication
between the ISSO and departments hosting international scholars
at BU.
