Optional Practical Training Workshops
for
Spring 2012
These special OPT workshops are aimed at students currently enrolled in programs at the Boston University School of Public Health, the School of Medicine, the
Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and the Division of Graduate Medical Sciences who are completing their programs in Spring or Summer Terms 2012, and are interested in applying for Optional Practical Training. These workshops will cover application materials, processing and timelines as well as obstacles and challenges that students may face when choosing an OPT start date and deciding if they should apply for pre-completion OPT, post-completion OPT or both.
Each workshop will cover eligibility, timing of the application,
deadlines and the application process. At the end of the workshop,
ISSO international student advisors will be available to answer questions
in our "OPT Clinic."
