Boston University Orientation - Session 8
Saturday Program for International Undergraduates
The International Student Advising team of the ISSO will be participating in Boston University Orientation – Session 8, in a program tailored for international students to be held Saturday, September 1st, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Session 8 Saturday session will address topics including:
- Acculturation to the U.S.
- Navigating the U.S. Classroom
- American Culture
- Health and Wellness
- Immigration and Employment
This mandatory orientation session will provide important cultural adjustment information related to culture shock, the American classroom and remaining healthy in the U.S. and will also introduce new international students to the services of the International Students & Scholars Office, explain vital immigration responsibilities and procedures.
