Application Deadlines

All application materials should be received by Boston University by the application deadlines. We do not accept late applications.

Fall Semester

Deadline for consideration with merit-based financial aid:  December 15

Final Deadline:  April 15

Spring Semester

Deadline (including consideration for merit-based financial aid) :  October 15

Students considering a Spring application should note the following:

• The Latin American Studies program does not accept applications for the Spring Semester.
• While we do accept applications for the IR & International Communication program for the Spring Semester, students who enter that program in the Spring may have difficulty finding COM classes that they can register for during their first semester in the program. Many COM classes have prerequisites and those prerequisites are normally taught only in the Fall Semester.
• Because of the length of time required for processing the student visa, international students are encouraged to apply for the Fall Semester, not for Spring.
