The Graduate International Relations Student Council (GIRC) is the official graduate student organization of the Department of International Relations. This vibrant student group organizes a variety of activities to enrich students' lives, including dinners with faculty members and social events.
In addition, each year the GIRC plans an annual Alumni Reception during the Spring Semester. This event includes a speaker and refreshments, and provides an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with one another and with professors, as well as an opportunity for current students to get to know some of our alumni. All alumni are welcome to attend. Details of the reception are sent out via our Alumni Newsletter and are also posted in the Alumni section of this website.
