Students in the field of education have the opportunity to gain international teaching experience through Boston University’s School of Education Program. Students complete the four-credit core course, AN 368 Australian Culture and Society, during the first six weeks of the semester while completing a 10-credit teaching practicum. Upon successful completion of a semester students earn 14 Boston University credits. The program includes specialized coursework in cross-cultural studies and student teaching in a community institution. Upon successful completion of a semester students earn 10-13 Boston University credits. BU students in the field of education have the opportunity to gain international teaching experience through Boston University’s School of Education and Roehampton University, a leader in teacher education. Situated in a parkland setting in southwest London, Roehampton is one of the largest teacher training centers in Great Britain, with approximately one-third of its 8,000 students enrolled in teacher certification programs. The program includes specialized coursework in cross-cultural studies and student teaching in a community institution. Upon successful completion of a semester students earn 14 Boston University credits.
