Housing

Students live in furnished apartments with other students in Boston University’s London programs. The apartments are within walking distance of the BU London Center, in central and exclusive South Kensington. They vary in size (from two to 13 occupants), configuration, and style of decoration, but most consist of shared bedrooms with Internet access, bath/shower room, kitchen, and a living/dining room area.

British Programs staff members and RAs live in BU's buildings along with the students, helping to ensure a high level of maintenance and security.

Crofton House

A former hotel, Crofton House has been recently and completely renovated to accommodate the American student studying abroad. It is fully furnished, wireless, and features classroom, lounge, and study areas. Students live in suites sharing common kitchens, living and television areas.

Crofton House is located on Queen's Gate, directly across from Imperial College and only steps away from Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall and many prominent museums.

Sorbonne House

The former Sorbonne Hotel, completely renovated as a student residence, sits on Cromwell Road across the street from the Museum of Natural History and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Student accommodations consist of studio units with private kitchens and bathrooms, each housing one to four students. There is a common area/television lounge on each floor.

Lexham Gardens

A beautiful, traditional South Kensington apartment building on a quiet and elegant residential street.

Accommodations consist of bedrooms housing two to four students, shared kitchens and bathrooms, and shared common areas and television lounges.
