Run by College of Communication students and advisors from the industry, BU’s on-campus ad agency can help with digital advertising, social media, logo design, consumer insights, and more.

BU Spark!

BU Spark! supports student-driven innovation and entrepreneurship in computer science, computer engineering, and all related fields. Access to resources, knowledge, and expert networks are available to all BU students.

Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC)

As part of the College of Engineering, EPIC is home to cutting-edge facilities and equipment—and is open to all BU students of all majors to receive training on skills necessary for product innovation, such as design, prototyping, and manufacturing.

BUILDS

BUILDS is a group of students who follow the “Hacker Ethic”; a series of principals that encourage innovation and collaboration. Together they operate a maker space for students work on their projects including tech, security, electronics, and art. They run weekly hands-on workshops and events.

Singh Imagineering Lab (Tinker)

“The Tinker Lab” is open to all entrepreneurial ENG students to use for any project, for any length of time. Besides tools and machinery, you may also take advantage of guidance from faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate peers while pursuing your ideas.

Student Legal Resources

The Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Clinic and the Technology & Cyberlaw Clinic serve as legal resources to student entrepreneurs, innovators, and researchers.

The Entrepreneurship & Intellectual Property Clinic provides legal counsel on issues that entrepreneurs and startups commonly encounter such as business and entity formation, founders’ equity allocation, shareholder agreements, negotiation of licensing agreements, and intellectual property (IP).
