  • 9:30 AM Fintech Workshop: Reducing the Cost of Remittance for Migrant Workers

    Money sent home by migrant workers is one of the largest financial inflows to developing countries. The problem? Transfer costs are high and there is little investment in better Fintech solutions. Join Master Lecturer Mark Williams and international scholars from the Humphrey Fellow Cohort to discuss current challenges facing international remittances and help brainstorm new Fintech solutions! Open to students and the BU community.

The annual New Venture Competition (NVC) is a multi-round pitch competition that gives early-stage startups a chance to win up to $15,000! The NVC is appropriate for ventures of any kind including tech, consumer, creative, or social impact.

    Join BU Wind to talk about BU's Climate Action Plan, our recent Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to build a new wind farm, and the role of students in creating significant and lasting change in BU's sustainability.
