    With such an increase in the way we consume digital content, there's been a wave of millennials of color innovating, curating and monetizing creative outlets -- from media mavens to social influencers and brand ambassadors. Through an interactive dialogue, "From Content to Coins" explores how millennials of color are killing the game and making social impact with their unique digital footprint, while generating profit and building sustainable brands.   • 5:00 PM Pitch & Pizza (New Venture Competition) - SOCIAL IMPACT IDEAS

    Have an idea you're ready to transform into reality? Want to hear ideas from fellow BU Terriers? Join us for Pitch & Pizza, the first round in Innovate@BU's New Venture Competition! The annual New Venture Competition (NVC) is a multi-round pitch competition that gives early-stage startups a chance to win up to $15,000! The NVC is appropriate for ventures of any kind including tech, consumer, creative, or social impact.

  • 12:30 PM BU Wind; A Student Forum on our Clean Energy Future

    Join BU Wind to talk about BU's Climate Action Plan, our recent Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to build a new wind farm, and the role of students in creating significant and lasting change in BU's sustainability. This event will include a short presentation on the PPA by Dennis Carlberg, breakout working groups, and lunch will be served!

  • 6:00 PM Hult Prize @ BU - Grande Finale Pitches

    Get an inside view of student ideas that are developing the most compelling solution for the Hult Prize 2019 Challenge addressing youth unemployment. One team will earn a spot at one of the 25+ Regional Finals taking place all over the world, and the chance to pitch for the grand prize of $1 million USD at the United Nations HQ

    Celebrate the Most Innovative Ideas of the Semester! $1,000 is up for grabs - help us select BU's most innovative student idea of fall 2018! Be inspired by creative apps, cutting-edge research, one-of-a-kind programs, unique events, entrepreneurial business ideas and more! Finalists will showcase their idea and have 1min to pitch and impress the crowd. Dozens of teams will apply, only one will win and the audience decides the champion in this best-of-the-best campus competition! Light food and beverages will be served.
