All Day Entrepreneurial Marketing & Finance summer program
Every summer, master’s students from around the globe meet at Boston University for an extraordinary experience: a custom-designed, high-intensity entrepreneurship accelerator. They’ll dive into marketing and finance for entrepreneurs with the leaders of Innovate@BU, experimenting and practicing in the Boston ecosystem. And they’ll study and live at Boston University—the world-renowned, urban research university in the heart of the city.

8:00 AM 1 Million Cups August - FinTech Ventures
Join us on August 8 as entrepreneurs, innovators, funders and other interested community members are invited to attend a monthly 1 Million Cups event on Wednesday (typically the first of each month) from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. August's theme is FinTech Ventures! *Part of Startup Boston event week* Join us for our startup-interested student mixer! It's open to any juniors, seniors, & grad students, from any Boston-area university, with a serious interest in starting or joining a startup. Meet potential cofounders, hear from a panel of successful founders who met their cofounder or started their ventures in college, and get connected to the broader Boston startup community.

5:30 PM Entrepreneurship Club Startup Challenge Kickoff!
Interested in what it’s like to start a business? Come join your fellow terriers in The Startup Challenge, hosted by the Entrepreneurship club! This semester long program is focused on solving a real world problem, and the winning team will be given support to continue after the semester is over!

12:00 PM Common Startup Mistakes & How to Avoid Them (BU Law Clinic Brown-bag Lunch Talks)
The Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property, and Cyberlaw Program's Innovation Law Brown Bag Lunch Talks bring BU Law faculty and students to the BUild Lab for presentations on a variety of legal issues often faced by student entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, ventures, and startups. Grow your community of innovative thought leaders across Boston! Join this #FUNinBOS festival event co-hosted by Boston University's Innovate@BU and the Howard Thurman Center to meet and connect with diverse millennials of color who are driving innovation and creating impact in Boston and beyond through their careers, ideas and ventures. Hear inspiring lightning talks (5min TED-style talks) and meet fellow millennials dedicated to transforming ideas into impact.

In your community or across the globe, learn how to develop ideas that solve problems and make things better. This workshop is part Innovate@BU's In Real Life series. The series includes six different workshops that teach innovation skills and help build an entrepreneurial mindset that you can use to create impact #InRealLife. Each topic is offered two times during the fall 2018 semester.
