Community Leadership Program in Lowell

The Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership announces the Community Leadership Program in Lowell, MA! The Community Leadership Program is a one-year, part time certificate program that will take place in Lowell.

The Community Leadership Program is a 22 session program taking place on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am that will blend the topics of leadership/management with community organizing and social justice.  Courses begin on October 1, 2014 and run through April 29, 2015.

Build. Connect. Collaborate. Lead.

Build the leadership pipeline. Connect the generations. Collaborate with one another. Lead together.

Tomorrow’s nonprofit leaders are young, diverse, and committed to social justice. They will draw on the lessons and insights of pioneer community leaders to forge new connections and powerful impact. The Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership has built the Community Leadership Program in order to nurture these future leaders at both an organizational and community-wide level. Participants will be trained in the art of nonprofit management as well as the history and impact of social justice and community collaboration in nonprofits locally and beyond.

The program is free this year as we pilot it in Lowell.  Submit your application here.  Applications are due July 9, 2014.
