Online Publication 2016-2017

The Boston University International Law Journal launched its online publication series in the fall of 2014. This series exists to give practicing attorneys, law professors, and select students a platform to publish short essays (15 double-spaced pages, not counting footnotes maximum length) on any topic of interest to them related to international law. We look to publish three such essays in the coming year, each of which will be put through the same editorial process as an article published in one of our print editions. Past topics have included an analysis of 2014 court decisions involving the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act, an argument in favor of a global legal scheme for terrorism risk insurance, and an examination of the United Nation’s legal immunity in US courts in the face of a cholera epidemic unleashed in Haiti.
