Michael McGuire

Michael McGuire is a graduate of Vassar College (1998). He received an Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship to attend Boston University, where he is a doctoral candidate. His dissertation is, “Comrades in War, Critics in Peace: American Non-governmental Organizations, the Reconstruction of France, and Franco-American Relations, 1914-1929”.  He has taught at Boston University, Northeastern University, and Emmanuel College. His publications include entries in the Encyclopedia of the Modern World (2007), and a primary source reader As It Actually Was: A History of International Relations through Documents, 1823-1945 (2005). He served as a Research Analyst for Muzzy Lane Software on Making History: The Calm and the Storm, an interactive WWII-era strategy game.
