- MA degree in History in 2005 at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Leuven, Belgium)
- PhD program in 2006 with both a Fulbright Scholarship and a Fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation.
During academic year 2005-06, she earned her degree as an MA in History Teaching at K.U.Leuven while at the same time preparing a paper based on her master’s thesis for the Dutch-Belgian journal Pro Memorie.
Her current area of interest is the history of France and especially its ambiguous relationship with the United States throughout the 19th and 20th century.
At Boston University she is working with Professor William Keylor.
