Dr. Robert Citino, Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of War and Democracy, and Samuel Zemurray Stone Senior Historian at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Citino is author of numerous books on the German military and the pioneer concept of a "German Way of War" as practiced from Friedrich II down to WWII. He has written widely on the operational arrogance of the Wehrmacht generals, exploding the myth of their opposition to Hitler's ways in war and brutal occupation. Location: American Heritage Museum, Hudson MA. Tickets $20 per person for talk and historian guided, personal tour of exhibits. IHI will pay for tickets for its members.
