Boston University Office of Fellowships and Scholarships coordinates student, faculty, and alumni applications for external fellowships, scholarships, awards, and prizes requiring university nomination, endorsement, or review, such as Fulbright Grants and Gates Millennium Scholars Program. A subset of these are Graduate opportunities. Many have an internal BU pre-selection process.

The Population Reference Bureau (PRB) offers several opportunities: The International Fellows Program with USAID and The Compton Foundation/PRB International Fellowships for graduated students, among others.
Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program By drawing graduate students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, the PMF Program provides a continuing source of trained men and women to meet the future challenges of public service.
The Leopold Schepp Foundation The Foundation grants approximately 200 individual awards each year to both full time undergraduate students enrolled in four year bachelor programs and to full time graduate students. Applicants must either be currently enrolled or must have completed one year of undergraduate work at an accredited college or university. Certain Age & citizenship restrictions.
