The Center for Global Health and Development (CGHD) at Boston University School of Public Health is providing technical support to the Government of Zambia to strengthen and expand HIV services in 8 districts in Southern Province, Zambia.
Intern Scope of Work
The Center for Global Health & Development (CGHD) at Boston University provides 6-month technical internships in Zambia to MPH students. Interns work through the Zambia Center for Applied Health Research and Development (ZCAHRD) to support the work of several research and service delivery projects ongoing in Southern Province, Zambia.
As an intern you will be based in one of the ZCAHRD field offices in Lusaka, Mazabuka, Livingstone or Choma. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated cultural sensitivity, an ability to work both independently and with groups, a good attitude, be proactive, flexible, have strong communication skills in a multicultural setting, and be a creative thinker.
We will not be providing internship placements for the January 2013-June 2014 cycle. Updates will be made available for the July 2014-December 2014 cycle as soon as possible.
