Fanciulla 100: Celebrating Puccini

The Boston University College of Fine Arts & Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center invite you to "Fanciulla 100: Celebrating Puccini," a symposium honoring the Centenary of the World Premiere of Giacomo Puccini's La Fanciulla del West. The event will feature talks by Boston University Professor Deborah Burton, College of Fine Arts; Professor David Rosen, Cornell University; Professor Carolyn Guzski, SUNY- Buffalo who is a music historian; Professor Harvey Sachs, Curtis Institute; and more. There will also be the opening (with reception) of the exhibition "The Girl of the Golden West: Chronicling Puccini's Fanciulla", December 6th, 1:00-3:00 Fiedler Reading Room, Mugar Library, 2nd floor.
