The Charles River Campus

As Boston University students, all participants regardless of schedule have full access to the facilities of Boston University's Charles River Campus. Graduation ceremonies are held in May at the Charles River Campus. Charles River Campus Boston University's Charles River Campus extends over 71 acres from the historic Back Bay section of Boston westward along the south bank of the Charles River. From the townhouses of Bay State Road to the state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms on Commonwealth Avenue, and from peaceful parks and esplanades to the city life of Kenmore Square, the University offers a clean, safe, and attractive environment in which students live and study. On the Charles River Campus, Human Resource Education students spend the majority of their time in the classrooms, labs, and libraries of two buildings: the School of Education, located at Two Sherborn Street, and the adjacent School of Management, located next door at 595 Commonwealth Avenue. These buildings are located on the East Campus, which is within walking distance of Kenmore Square and Fenway Park.

From the North
Follow I-93 or Route 1 South to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive (Exit 26). Continue on Storrow Drive to Kenmore Square exit. Then follow Local Directions.

From the South
Follow I-93/Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) North to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive (Exit 26). Continue on Storrow Drive to Kenmore exit. Then follow Local Directions.

From the West
Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to Exit 18, Brighton/Cambridge. Exit left. Follow signs to Cambridge to the second set of lights. Turn right at the light onto Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive. Exit Storrow Drive at the Kenmore exit. Then follow Local Directions.

Local Directions (From Kenmore exit)
At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Beacon Street. At this point, the road forks: the right fork is Bay State Road. Take the left fork, which leads into Kenmore Square. In the square, bear right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Pass Deerfield Street and the School of Management. At the next set of lights, take a right. The School of Education is immediately to your left.
