Admissions

Application

The overview below provides an outline of the requirements for consideration of admission. Candidates are encouraged to refer to the School of Education online bulletin for more comprehensive descriptions of programs and courses, and an explanation of the application process. Candidates should have the following prerequisites to be considered for admission to any of the Human Resource Education graduate programs:

  • Completed a four-year baccalaureate degree or equivalent from an accredited college
  • Experience in corporate and/or organizational learning, organizational development, or human resources

Deadlines

Priority Deadline—February 15th
Applicants who wish to be considered in the first assistance review must submit a complete admissions and financial aid application by February 15th. Students must be admitted to a degree or certificate program before their application for financial assistance will be reviewed.

Program Deadline—June 30th
Although the Human Resource Education program welcomes the receipt of and reviews candidate applications throughout the year, candidates are encouraged to submit their application no later than June 30th for September enrollment. Since classes begin on the first weekend of September and January, applications received after June 30 will be reviewed for entrance in January.  Please note that the Cohort Program does not accept new students for the semester beginning in January. On a case by case basis, written requests for deadline extensions will be reviewed and granted by the HRE program manager.
