Introduction
In addition to state and federal laws for which the Office of Human Resources is responsible for ensuring compliance, Boston
University has a number of employment-related policies and
procedures that apply to all employees.
Many of these policies and procedures can also be found in
the Personnel Policy Manual, but have been given their own
space here since the Office of Human Resources is contacted so frequently
with requests for information about these issues.
In the future, we plan to include additional information that
we believe managers and departmental personnel/payroll coordinators
will find useful in administering Personnel policies and procedures.
