Who Needs to Enroll?

If you want to… Then follow these steps…
  • Enroll in health or dental coverage for the first time
  • Change benefit plans
  • Change coverage levels (add or drop dependents)*
  • Enroll or re-enroll in one or both
    Flexible Spending Accounts(required every year)
  • Enroll in the Personal and Family Accident Insurance Plan, or
  • Drop coverage …
  1. Click on Open Enrollment
  2. Enter your ACS login account and Kerberos password
  3. Select the Employee Self-Service tab and follow the prompts.
  4. Review the summary of your elections and your deductions for 2014
  5. Print this summary as confirmation of your 2013 benefit elections
  6. Complete your enrollment by the deadline: November 27, 2013 at 7 p.m.!
If you want your current 2013 coverage to continue in 2014, and you are not enrolled in the Flexible Spending Accounts, do nothing. Your current coverage will continue automatically in 2014 – at 2014 coverage levels and rates with two exceptions: 

  • You must re-enroll for the Health Care and the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts for 2014.

Be sure to choose the right coverage level for health and dental insurance: Employee only, Employee plus child(ren), Employee plus spouse, Family.     

*You may cover adult children until age 26 even if the young adult no longer lives with his or her parents, is not a dependent on a parent’s tax return, or is no longer a student. The young adult can be either married or unmarried, although their own spouses and children do not qualify.

Don’t forget the deadline: November 27, 2013 at 7 p.m.!
