CORI/SORI and Temporary Employees

Prior to hire, some categories of Temporary Employees are subject to state-required CORI/SORI (Criminal Offender Record Information/Sexual Offender Registry Information) background checks. These positions include:

  • Senior security assistants in Residential Safety
  • Any employee who has an assignment (of any duration) at the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories on the Medical Campus
  • Children’s summer camp and climbing wall employees in the Department of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance
  • Any employee working with minors (children under age 18)
  • Recruiting staff in the Admissions office
