Get Involved

Boston University is more than a workplace—it’s a community. And when you’d like to get involved here on campus, there’s something for everybody:

BU Today: The University’s daily online news publication helps you stay in touch with the latest at BU. Browse campus news, information about upcoming events, and your colleagues’ achievements and activities.

BU Athletics: Attend a game and cheer on our nationally ranked Terrier athletic teams.

Agganis Arena: You’ll find more than athletic events here—check out the events, concerts, family shows, and more.

Huntington Theatre Company: The professional theatre-in-residence at Boston University offers discounted season subscriptions for employees.

College of Fine Arts: Home to talented undergraduate and graduate students, CFA holds music, theater, and visual art exhibitions throughout the year.

Student Activities office: Faculty and staff are invited to become a student organization advisor for one of BU’s nearly 500 student organizations. From community service to club sports, advising allows you to share your talents and explore new interests.

Boston Playwrights’ Theatre: Founded in 1981 by Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, this award-winning, professional theater is part of Boston University’s Graduate Creative Writing Department.

sustainability@BU: Recognized as a Green University by the Princeton Review, BU is reducing its environmental footprint; you can be a part of this movement, too. Get involved with Green Office Certification in your workspace, support recycling efforts in your area, or become a Sustainability Liaison.

Boston University Women’s Guild: This woman-to-woman organization provides the women of BU with a forum to discuss topics of common interest and the opportunity to meet women from across the University.
