Management, Acumen, Performance (M.A.P.) is a new program geared to leaders, managers or individual contributors who are looking for the next development step –to gain leadership skills in their current roles or prepare for an increase of scope in responsibilities.

This new program will launch as a pilot in early 2019. Following is information about the pilot schedule, content, participant expectations and guest speakers.

Negotiation and Executive Presence

Mark Jankowski is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia Scho0l of Law. He has been in the training and development industry for over 20 years and has worked with thousands of executives, delivering programs on six continents in more than 20 countries including South Africa, Singapore, China, Japan, Australia and throughout Europe.

Mark has written two best-selling books on negotiation, The Power of Nice: How to Negotiate So Everyone Wins – Especially You! and Bullies, Tyrants & Impossible People: How To Beat Them Without Joining Them.

Mark has lectured at the Wharton School of Business, Case Western Reserve University, and Johns Hopkins University. He has been featured in SmartMoney, CEO Magazine, American Business Journal, Southwest Airlines’ Spirit Magazine, Reader’s Digest and Fortune.

Mark was the most highly rated speaker in the last Choose To Lead Cohort and has worked with multiple organizations within Boston University with great success.

Since 1972, SpeakOUT Boston has conducted peer-led training programs to prepare LGBTQIA community members to effectively tell their personal stories to create positive social change. SpeakOUT offers training to individuals and organizations to use public speaking as a means of creating positive cultural change and educate communities about issues that divide us.
