Negotiation

Mark Jankowski has been in the Training and Development business for over 20 years. He has co-authored two books: “The Power of Nice: How to Negotiate So Everyone Wins –Especially You!” and “Bullies, Tyrants and Impossible People: How to Beat Them Without Joining Them.” Mark has taught tens of thousands of people on 6 continents in over 35 countries. He has taught at Wharton, Johns Hopkins University, and University of Virginia. He not only teaches, but he coaches executives, currently working with over a dozen CEOs running companies that are generating over $1b in revenue annually.

Executive Presence

Gerry Sandusky founded The Sandusky Group fifteen years ago to help professionals to a better job of expressing their excellence in front of the media and live audiences. The Sandusky Group are communication experts who teach clients how to articulate their messages with confidence and transform their ability to reach their goals. Gerry has been a TV and radio broadcaster for more than two decades, the radio play-by-play voice of the Baltimore Ravens, and a two-time Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award winner.

Diversity and Inclusion

Shari L. Johnson joined BU in July 2019 with nearly two decades of university teaching experience in the areas of racial justice, queer studies & anthropology, as well as faculty development. Prior to that, she served marginalized communities, specifically TBLGQI & POC older adults as a medical social worker and a therapist in private practice. Shari is now serving in the inaugural role as Director of Inclusive Organizational Development and Training, Diversity and Inclusion with the Office of the Provost.

Cei Lambert is the Program Manager for the National LGBT Health Education Center. In this role he is responsible for managing all components of Fenway Health’s education arm, including webinars, on-site trainings and development of publications. Immediately prior to this role Cei was the Assistant Director for Diversity & Inclusion at Berklee College of Music. Before that Cei spent several years as the Transgender Health Program Patient Advocate at Fenway Health. Cei is also a working artist and designer with numerous showings and publications of his illustrations and multimedia design installations. He graduated from Colorado State University with both a Bachelors and Masters in Fine Arts. In his free time, Cei enjoys birdwatching, listening to audiobooks, practicing martial arts, hiking, and doting on his greyhound, Scotty.

Since 1972, SpeakOUT Boston has conducted peer-led training programs to prepare LGBTQIA community members to effectively tell their personal stories to create positive social change. SpeakOUT offers training to individuals and organizations to use public speaking as a means of creating positive cultural change and educate communities about issues that divide us.
