Salary Grade Description

The following are brief descriptions of the University’s salary grades. Visit the Salary Ranges page for details.

  • Grades 22–26: Hourly paid clerical or technical support staff positions. The majority of these positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Grades 41–43: Monthly paid professional librarian positions that require a Master in Library Science. These positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement
  • Grades 51–58: Monthly paid information systems and technology positions that require a certain level of computer/technical expertise. When considering these positions, be sure to review the specific computer requirements outlined in the job posting.
  • Grades 71–82: Monthly paid administrative and professional positions. When considering these positions, be sure to review the requirements outlined in the job posting.
