Retiree Mentor Program

Boston University Society of Retired Faculty and Staff

Mentoring Program for BU students

Would you like to be mentored by a retired faculty or staff member? Here’s how: From the list below, find a retiree whose interests coincide with yours. Contact them by e-mail and introduce yourself. (If no e-mail address is given, email Richard Vidale at rfv@bu.edu and he will provide you with a telephone number.) If you strike it off, arrange a time and place to meet. The mentor’s commitment is open ended, but normally limited to 4 hours per month. The mentoring sessions are intended to be conversational, not tutorial. They provide an opportunity to share interests and issues across generations.
