As a manager, you want to make your new employees feel welcome. It’s your responsibility to facilitate their seamless integration into the workplace and make sure they have all the tools and information they need to “hit the ground running” on their first day of work.

Be sure to take the time to introduce new employees to colleagues in your department and show them around the campus. If the employee is new to the area, encourage them to take a tour of Boston and point out all the exciting opportunities available to them both on campus and throughout the city.
