job description
Job description is a summary of the most important features of a job; must include duties, responsibilities, and level of work performed. Descriptions should focus on the job itself, with qualifications and skills required, but not on the individual who might fill the position.
job evaluation
Job evaluation is used for compensation planning purposes, it is the process of comparing a job with other jobs in the organization to determine an appropriate pay rate for the job.
kerberos
Kerberos is BU’s name for the password to your ACS account.
lifetime maximum benefit
Lifetime maximum benefit is the maximum amount the plan will pay in benefits for each covered person in a lifetime.
LOA
LOA (leave of absence) is a term used to describe a period of time that one is to be away from his/her primary job, while maintaining the status of employee.
