Dental Health Plan Overview

You and your eligible family members have the opportunity to enroll in the Boston University Dental Health Plan. You and the University share the cost of your coverage under the Dental Health Plan. The Dental Health Plan is designed to provide you with high-quality care at an affordable price with the flexibility of using one of the two Boston University Dental Health Centers or your own dentist.

The centers provide a comprehensive range of services, including preventive, diagnostic, and restorative care as well as orthodontic treatment. No claim forms are necessary at the Centers.

If you use your own dentist, you will be reimbursed for a portion of your expenses based on the center's fee schedule. Orthodontic services are not covered if service is provided by an outside dentist.
