Huntington Theatre: The Huntington Theatre Company is the professional theatre-in-residence company at the Boston University Theatre. Take advantage of the discounted season subscription for employees.
College of Fine Arts events: The College of Fine Arts is home to talented undergraduate and graduate students. Be sure to attend one (or more!) of these artists’ music, theater, and visual art exhibitions. You can even sign up to receive updates on events in music, theater, and the visual arts.
Student Activities Office: Advising a Boston University student organization is a fantastic way to become involved in the greater BU community. The Student Activities Office currently supports nearly 500 active organizations and welcomes faculty and staff involvement.
BU offers a wide variety of organizations to choose from in twelve major categories, with topics of interest ranging from community service, politics, performance, culture, graduate programs (including LAW and MBA), college governments, as well as professional, religious, and social activities, and club sports. Working with a student organization is a great way to share your existing talent or explore new interests, all while contributing to student learning outside of the classroom.

Playwrights’ Theatre: The Boston Playwrights’ Theater at 949 Commonwealth Avenue was founded in 1981 by Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott. It is an award-winning, small, professional theater funded by and part of the Graduate Creative Writing Department in Boston University’s English department.
sustainability@BU: Learn what Boston University, a recognized Green University by the Princeton Review, is doing to reduce our environmental footprint and find out what you can do to act more sustainably in your work life. Get involved through green office certification in your workspace, by supporting recycling efforts in your area, or become a Sustainability Liaison!
Boston University Women’s Guild: the Guild is a woman-to-woman organization that provides the women of BU with a forum to discuss topics of common interest and with the opportunity to meet women from across the campuses whom they otherwise might not get to know.
