Campus Safety

Boston University is committed to providing you with the utmost safety. Our police department, the Boston University Police Department (BUPD) is on patrol 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you are an employee on the Medical Campus: The Department of Public Safety provides services and support to the Boston University Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Public Health and to Boston Medical Center. The mission of the department is to provide a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, staff, students, and visitors while minimizing the opportunity for loss of personal and institutional assets.
